Hey everybody! Hope all is well.

I recently acquired a 2006 4dr Tacoma and I'm in the process of upgrading the head unit and adding a backup camera. I wanted to go with a flush mount, for a better look and because I feel like a license plate bracket mount is asking to be stolen.

I just dont know a good place to install it and have it as centered as possible.

Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?

thanks in advance for any help.

That is a fantastic solution that I had not seen yet, in all of the research I've been doing. It is also a tad bit more expensive than what I've been looking at, but it would be a worthy investment, I'm thinking.

I have the oem camera and want to upgrade the camera and cable it to the new head unit. Interested in the technique if it has been done, but I could not find a thread.
