I have leftover snow tires from previous vehicles and wonder if they would fit my new Tacoma. The sizes are 215/55R 17 and 275/65R 18. Thanks very much.

Check your stock tire sizes and rim sizes. You show two different rim sizes

Rims are 17 and yes they do fit in the box lol. I would have to purchase new rims.

Assuming you have a set of 17” wheels and a set of 18” wheels, both might fit. The 215/55r17 is really small and will reduce your ground clearance by about 2” which is no good for driving through deep snow. I’d never put that on my truck. The 275/65r18 is a bit on the large side, but might fit. I wouldn’t put it on my truck either, because the aspect ratio is too small for my liking.

    The 18's are 1" taller.

Both tires strike me as oddball sizes for a Tacoma and I’m guessing you won’t find many people that can confirm either fits because few people put either of those sizes on their Tacoma. Also note that “fit” is not well defined in this context.

While both tires might fit without rubbing or other complications that makes it difficult to drive your truck, they are not ideal sizes for what a truck is typically used for: hauling, towing, and off roading.

If you'd have to buy new wheels to use oddball, leftover used tires, why not just buy new tires for the wheels you have? Fuckin Friday man.
