This is not true. There is a filter wrapped around the stock pump. It may be a joke but it’s something. See here:

    Correct^^^ Thank you @Murphinator

Adding an external filter, while the internal OEM filter is installed, does nothing beneficial. As the internal one is still in an upward climb of contamination trapping. It will still have to be changed eventually.

No point to add an external filter, until the internal one is removed.

    A thing or two...
Interesting, learned something new. I don't think I've ever seen photos of that filter element before. It's always the sock I've seen when people post about the stock filter.

In case anyone needs a mount for their Wix/Napa filter. Found this on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07426TY4S/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
Comes as a pair. I have the other mount not being used it's yours, just pay for USPS flat rate shipping, small box.
Also, this company Racetronix: https://www.racetronix.biz/ has every fitting needed to make your connections. I've purchased several hard to find items from them that were in stock. Decent prices on shipping and considering it's coming from Canada the packages arrived fairly quick.

Cool, had a similar setup but for some reason it kept on throwing evap codes. Checked fittings and even went so far as to make up different hoses with new fittings. Decided to swap it out with the Wix/Napa filter and figure it out later on.
I have an FJ and there is no room inside of the frame rail to fit the new filter. The DT "Y" pipes I have with welded cats are so close to the frame rails that I decided to fit it on the outside. Between the rock rails with a 3/8" aluminum angle bolted to rock sliders as protection. Then snaked the hoses up and over frame rails.

@Torspd just posted about the injector dynamics fuel filter in another thread.

It looks so good it got me wondering if there’s any reason no one has installed their filters in the engine bay?

I already have the RPM350 and won’t be upgrading regardless.

It was out long after I had invested in my RPM kit. More features, and overall nicer unit. Modular design with mind set for those going to greater builds. With needs for more data.

The RPM filter and adapter are just plain simple and functional. Just need to be proactive about changing the filter on your own. Rather than having a delta gauge showing how "saturated" the fuel filter is with contaminants.

Regardless, both have great filtration, and every fuel compatible. Both can have the filter changed in a matter of seconds.

That F750 is slick but I don't know that I need to spend $500+ on a kit and then $45 on filters.

Would a fitting like this allow a guage for fuel pressure similar to the one on the F750?

There is a new DW spin on filter. It's not cheap. I've reached out to get dimensions but looks like a hanging install. $15 replacement filter. https://deatschwerks.com/collections/filtration/products/8-03-sof-005k

They also make a bunch of inline filters that have brackets included on ends.

Does anyone have any brand recommendations on where to get the fittings from? It seems like they are available in a lot of race shops that make them

This shop looks like they may be USA made and lots of parts available was leaning towards ordering here. https://racepartsolutions.com/manufactures
