Well if you have a closed mind, you’ll never allow anything a chance :notsure: I’ve had plenty of beers I thought would be total shit that turned out to be really good.

That's not fair. I don't have a closed mind to beers, I've never encountered an American beer that compares to what's available overseas. Our best is their average.

Well you only really referenced monastery brewed beer, which is always Belgian style. I’m not a Belgian fan but from those who are I’ve heard the monks make the best and I’m sure with how many centuries they’ve been brewing the same recipe. The issue is the Europeans drink more lagers and Belgian style and that’s not a common style in the states. But if you go to a specific brewery I’d wager they make comparable beer to European beer. This place is in Denver and they only do lagers and pils which I don’t know of any other brewery that does that anymore

Not really. Have you been to Europe? Styles and end quality are two different things.

I also believe our beers are good, but if you've never experienced a European monastery beer (in Europe because American customs has restrictions, established by the FDA for importation) you have 0 clue in what you're taking about. They're tiers above a European brewery, micro-brewery or mass production brewery.

My setup has been in my truck for 5 plus years now. And even in this Georgia heat it has not moved.

Monastery beer made by those old world monks is 99% of the time a Belgian style beer (dubbel, tripel, quad) and like I said in the post you just quoted, those beers, from what I’ve heard (because I don’t care for the Belgian style so I don’t drink the US ones either) is very good and beats any US made Belgian. But other beers (pilsners, lagers, stouts) are all still brewed and lagered the same as here. The ingredients are still the same in those beers and brewed the same way. Those styles are not any better than what I’ve had here. I know my beer quite well
