trying to tighten throttle cable

    I have a 98 Tacoma and after 12 years of driving there's a lot of slack in the throttle cable. Is there a way to tighten it so that the slack in my gas pedal comes out?

    4.10 gears, sliders, and lots of buttons.
    There are adjusting nuts on the pully at the throttle body. You can tighten one, and loosen the opposite, and it will remove the slack. You need to keep about 1/8" of slack in it.
