K&N Apollo

I know the attitudes of K&N filters are pretty divided but I was curious if anyone has used the K&N Apollo CAI system. It’s not the normal open filter intake that does pull some air from the engine bay, it’s the fully enclosed system that pulls all its air from outside the engine bay.

 

You mean in the same way the OE system does?

 

Pretty much the same but without measuring it seems the intake and tubing is larger and it incorporates the higher flow filter. Not too concerned with dust and dirt since I don’t go off-road much.

 

Just go with the upgrade TRD intake system

 

I haven’t seen any TRD intakes for the 2020 SR 2.7L.

 

It's a universal bit, not Tacoma specific.

If I was a betting man, I'd bet my tomorrow's lunchtime Diet Coke that the end result would be less performance than the OE system.

Bling, noise and stickers for $250.

Hard pass for me.

 

Can always call Dealer see if it there is one for your 4 cylinder engine

More dirt into my engine, in exchange for a probable wash in performance, a window sticker and some shit under my hood no one wants to see.
