Sorry man. But wow that's $4000 damage.

It does suck that sometimes you can't have nice things.

Seriously one of the cheapest peace of mind devices, right next to a fire extinguisher in your kitchen. And unlike the fire extinguisher, a dashcam will at least capture some Lol moments for posterity.

That tab could probably be glued back. Stick the $4k in your pocket and call it a day.

Dang, was it just the tab that broke? I've been trying to get rid of my oem headlights forever now since I have aftermarket lights.

Rigid pod fogs, SpartanX stealth grill and hood LED's, 17" SEMA's on 275/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's, Fox 2.0 on all corners , TRD CAI, LEER 100XQ Blacked out, w/ Thule racks, and Cargo slider Flow master American Thunder "dual" exhaust, remote start, tint, TRD Pro grill and TRD shadow graphics, Alcan custom 8 leaf Spring Pack
Im almost afraid to call my insurance I got this after my 2009 was totaled in April. The Police report will show 100% the hit and run driver's fault, but they will find a way to jack my rates. I just pray he has insurance on his new MDX. I am thinking of buffing out the scratches and, gluing the light tab and remove/ reattaching the plastic corner bumper that is bulging a bit.

I would go that route. Either way your going to pay more money. I would not call the cops or insurance and just fix it so it looks good and functions fine. Looks like your damage is minimal. Take your blessings when they come.

You wouldn’t make the others insurance pay for $4k worth of damage?

No because it doesn’t look like 4K in damages. Yeah things aren’t cheap on this truck but look at it. Glue and duct tape and some pressure will fix it. Going through insurance and calling the cops is a major hassle and he is for sure Going to get another ding on his insurance and end up paying more.

Any better pictures of what the shop wants to charge you for and the damage? It’s really hard to see any damage from the pics you posted

I appreciate all the responses but the cops are already involved. I was hoping to leave my insurance out of it and go directly to his insurer with the police report and my two witnesses. Maybe I can get a $6000 estimate

He nicked the mirror and my meso signals, impacted the tire, they included an alignment and he put three scratches in the wheel molding and disloged the corner bumper plastic with scratches on it and the right side fender is out of alignment a bit ( this was a repair / not replace item on the estimate) the headlight bucket was $1449.00 to replace and aim. Ill get better pics tomorrow.
