How many have you had so far? And when did they do the CRC? You might want to wait a little longer is the reason I ask..

Start of vacation, hopefully nothing. Got a PS3 the other day so starting to mess around with that too

It did. I had to park under a pine tree the whole time, there was sap everywhere! I don't remember who suggested it, but rubbing alcohol FTMFW! I went around with a microfiber cloth and a bottle of alcohol and got all the sap spots off, then gave it a good wash, including a wheel and tire scrub.
Oh no, this was a glamping experience. Full hook ups, I had a hot shower every night I was there and, there was a gigantic heated swimming pool (not our typical camping experience but, this year, we're only doing full hook ups so we don't have to use the bath houses and it was both of my boys' birthdays so we wanted to do something special since we can't have a party with friends)

We actually almost stopped there for take out. That place is really good :hungry:

Weekend plans.. Smoking up some pork ribs and crushing a few finely crafted Greater Good beers tonight. Taco bath tomorrow to wash off the 7 million dead bugs. Install the weather tech rain deflectors, and black out emblems. Hang with friends, more beers, fire, hopefully avoid hangover. Sunday yard work bleh, wish my lawn was just a little more dead so it wouldn't grow haha.

Worked like a charm! We had some good storms while we were there so there was a LOT of sap. Then, of course, it got really hot so some of it was baked on pretty well. Truck's lookin' good again now though, life is good again :D

I need to start exploring more bbq up here. I went to bears again and it was nice to have decent bbq. I know there’s more. Blue bird up in Burlington was amazing but it’s been a while.

@BadDNA especially on this one, we had a potential ‘Rona exposure at work. I’m WFH next week and we’ll get test results from that before the VT trip. If negative I’m good. If positive I’ll bow out. I am no risk from one and low to no risk from another potential exposure but, even still if either comes back affirmative I’m out. But that does also mean that this weekend....my trip to NH to see friends (including ones grand mother who is visiting) is definitely not on the table. So looks like I’m in for a day of yard work tomorrow yippee.

anyone good with lawns and grass? My front lawn is dead as shit and I’m wondering if I should plant seeds now or wait until later this year. I don’t have irrigation, I can skirt something up manually small scale but was hoping to take advantage of nature.

Oh and, fuck Dometic Atwood and their shit ass water heater design. And Keystone, you too for being asshole enough to put it in your units. Electric element of the water heater stopped working. Turned out to be a connection, they used wire nuts to connect solid wire to braided and the connection failed, looks like it started to burn then disconnected altogether. The propane heating element is all on the outside of the camper, for some stupid reason the electric element is inside and all the plumbing is directly behind the junction box so you can’t even get at it like a normal person. To replace the element, you actually have to pull the whole water heater. If/when that happens, we’ll be getting a suburban unit where everything is accessible from the outside. Here’s the hole I was working in for a few hours fixing the water heater:

The j box is just to the left of the supply line, behind the supply line.

So, my job has changed a little in the past few months, I'm not strictly Telecom any more, now I'm on "Projects".

So it puts me in a lot of places and not always the hospital I've been working at for 25 years, but I'm not pushed hard and some change is good.

I'm learning more about IP and firewalls, networking etc, not that I want to. I'll never get it.

So yesterday I go work in my usual work place and get to see all the people I have missed.

Stacey who is a master on the grill. Is finally allowed to grill again and made me a Fresh Bacon /Egg/ Cheese
sandwich just the way I like it overeasy.

But the worst part of my day came when I met the Lab Director in the hallway.

We've known each other well for 15 years.

And he was with his wife.

I asked him what was up and he told me that his 27 yr old daughter was shot in the head by her boyfriend on Sunday, then the coward killed himself.

    She is at UMASS,

I could only give him the biggest Hug that I could.

Why can Men be such assholes?

    Just walk away.

Get a divorce, A divorce cost me $$ but I'm not dead or in prison.

But I did just join Match ;)

    Wow that sucks!

The 2 things that drive me crazy that men do is

    1. Beat a women or children!

    2. Have a child and just walk away!

Both of those things are so cowardly to me. Be a man! Admit your mistakes but never never never take it out on someone else! And for God's sakes always be there for your kids!!!

    I wish..
If someone is making you that upset, just walk the F away.
This is a big country with no borders. Rather then wreck your life and others just go and take a walk about.

If you arent gonna water it, dont put it down until september. I'd wait 1-2 weeks in where its less likely to burn out, waiting until the end of the month can be too late sometimes though.

That's a horrible thing, but its not only men who can be assholes or violent.

    Or burning in hell.:bananadead:

Haven't been there in a few years but remember it being real good and the best in this area. The Medway location was a lot better than the Bellingham one

I heard about the incident on the web and it prompted me to do the usual poking around to see what's what...You'll love to see that the gentleman involved had a massive domestic abuse history and was arrested Dec 23 for a ton of stuff including possession of multiple firearms with no FID, way over capacity magazines, no license etc..Out on bail with an ankle monitor when he did this...He has like 13 arrests...
He was real piece of work...and of course the Massachusetts legal system probably saw him as a bright shining star who just needed to be guided on the right path...
    https://tbdailynews.com/fitchburg-m...murder-suicide-of-worcester-nurse-girlfriend/
BTW news reports "neighbors didn't notice any warning signs"...yea but the state was well aware based on the number of incidents of domestic violence..

I have been talking to my wife a lot about things happening in our country. The high level of stress that lots of folks are experiencing and how important the family is. How at one time time a single income could make a home thrive. How our consumerism has driven up the cost of living and how a family would sacrifice or just get by (if they are lucky) on one income.

I can tell you, it sucks growing up with one parent, not knowing your mom. With my dad passing a while back, I frequently think about where my mom may be, should I find her so my kids can meet their grandmother, then I remind myself, she has made no effort to see me since I was 2.

it infuriates me when a person walks away from their kid, it angers me that you need a license To operate a car, you need a college degree to teach children, and it’s dam near impossible to adopt a pet, but a quick way bam thank you ma’am and you can bring a person into this world and walk away.

needless to say, I hope those in power figure out how to support families, how to support parents, how bring back the middle class, I really feel that a lot of what’s going on would be different if the family unit was the most important thing we focused on. I wonder how my relationship would have been different with my dad, if he did this, instead of focusing on work.
