    any suggestions for replacement carrier bearings? rockauto doesn't seem to have anything good and the Toyota dealership wants something like $300 for one.

    Possibly - just give it a visual inspection.

    I think it might be a smidge narrower than the exact model from the factory since there was like 1 more thread showing past the staked nut from the original, but I went off of the other reviews left for Tacoma’s.

    Thanks for the information. Looks like I'll probably be taking it apart one more time. Well hopefully its only on more time! Haha

    Make sure it’s the bearing - if you can put a go pro or a cheap knock off and get the sound on video it helps for diagnosing it.
