It is getting a "super" build, but it's staying LB and DC. It's going to be kind of the be all as best I can make it. I really want to get a Double Cab 05-06 Tundra and make that more of an overlandy comfy camping rig as this one has kinda left that whole scenario in the dust.

That would be me. Should have came and said hey if you saw me. Was buying stuff for a woodworking project at the house.
I lurk in here some times but you boys talk so much I can’t keep up so try to stop through when I can.

the rear bumper is made by LFD Offroad I love this bumper, been working on the design for a little over a year or so with them. We should do a tacomaworld ride soon.... I am headed to Windrock for the Appalachian Toyota Roundup. How about you guys anyone here heading to windrock for Labor Day weekend?

2nd one might end up being a Cat 4 before landfall. No worries here of course but you haven't lived until you are in a location with 150 knot winds and gusts to 170 outside.

Okay fellas need some help here I think I identified my problem but not sure, my thoughts are since this lower shock mount isn’t moving it’s froze up in turn making that lower shock bolt worn away so I’m thinking replace that and the bolt? No play but it will not move at all uniball seems tight no play.
Nevermind lower mount moves is tight but uca front bushing has some movement think that’s it.

I have replace the bearing twice in mine. But I do run through a lot of water and mud. Was the bolts loose? If they are tight they shouldn't wear the bolt.
They are hard to turn by hand, stick a screw drive part of the way in them for leverage and see if the move
Try not to damage the spacers on each side of the bearings. They can be reused.

Its hard to say on busings, really need to be able to feel it to judge play. If they are worn a lot you should be able to see the control arm move closer to the bolt when you push them toward and away from the bolt. Rotating them really just shows how tight or loose the bolt is.
