hidden bumper light bar - early 2nd gen (2008) Single vs Dual row led?

Looking to add an LED light bar hidden behind the lower grill valence on an early 2nd gen tacoma (2008). I’ve been overwhelmed by the variety of options and while I don’t see myself going Baja Designs level for my first rodeo, I don’t want to go super cheap EBay Chinese either as I will prob want to use this for a bit or possibly transfer to a diff vehicle (such as a new tacoma or 4runner later). I also may upgrade to an aftermarket bumper soon (thinking BAMF or C4 hybrid) and though it’s hard to see what all sizes bars they accept, I’ve seen the word 30” single

which leads me to ask if I’m wanting to get the best of all worlds in case I don’t keep stock bumper forever. Would getting a single vs double row light bar be better? Would it look weird behind the plastic fins or could u raise it and set it in to be centered in Height?


also, what bar would you guys say is the best bang for your buck quality wise? Almost pulled the plug on the Caliraisedled one

but didn’t know if I should check other options first too. Have even seen people mention Rough country and their black series but it’s a single row (Below)

Wonder how that would look with say Caliraised hidden brackets and mounted behind the Plastic tabs.


Also I’ve seen this one from Diode Dynamics for the 2016+ Tacoma for the same hidden lol. Was wondering if this would fit the 2005-2011 models with hidden brackets such as the Cali raised ?
