Anyone swap a 2020 TRD Pro grille to a 2018 Tacoma? Will the camera work?

Okay, bear with me here. We have a 2020 TRD Pro grille on a 2018 TRD Pro. I know, I know...but what I would like to know is if you got the front 2020 OEM camera to work with the head unit, and if so, how/what cables/what HU? All input appreciated--thank you!

Or, a 2020 TRD pro grille to any 2016-2019, and used the factory camera?

I haven't heard of anyone doing this, but have seen a few that have installed front cameras after the fact. I believe the head units in the 2018 and 2020 are different so that could make a difference. But the ones I've seen done aftermarket still took advantage of the older head unit and a manual toggle switch. I'm also bumping this thread because I'm interested to see if anyone has done it.

Even if u tried to do that . It would cost u so much money . U would need to also calibrate it and that’s stupid expensive . Best off after market if there is a option.

@GOTSAND?18 thanks for reply--camera needs recalibrated then? There's an empty oval connector here that would go from camera to HU....anyone have this or know a cable part#?IMG_9670.jpg
