intermittent miss fire when cold

    96 tacoma 4x4 extra cab
    headers, warn winch, Detroit lockers 2 inch lift
    my 96 tacoma 2.7 has a missfire when cold mostly goes away when warm but some times it comes back when warm and goes away intermittently , checked for head gasket leak ,nothing showed and hadnt been using any coolant so that about ruled that out, has any one had this kind of issue im thinking maybe some kind of issue with valves
