    Hi all,
First post on TW, so hello! I've been looking into turbocharging my 2009 Tacoma, 2tr-fe 2.7L with the r155f manual transmission. After more research and running numbers, I've decided I'd rather do a 1jz swap for the amount that it'll cost to safely turbo the 2tr-fe with decent boost pressure. I want to do a 1jzgte vvti swap out of the jzx100 Chaser, with a drive by cable conversion, while keeping my r155f transmission. I've read that the r154 bellhousing mounts to the r155f. I've also read that the input shaft on the r155f is 1/4 inch longer than the input shaft on the r154. I'm just curious if the bellhousing from the r155f will mount to the 1jz? If so, do I need any spacers due to the input shaft difference? It's an odd ball build, and I haven't found alot of information on the topic. Any advice is appreciated, thanks!

I found some Aussie forums when I was researching a 2j swap when my 2tr blew the piston rings. From my understanding with the correct bellhousing adapter the r155f should be a bolt on application.
