2003 Tacoma 2WD & 2018 Tacoma Sport

I have a 2018 Tacoma Sport and have these two wire runs going from the bed cover down through the bed. I have no idea what these serve. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

Those are drain tubes for your tonneau cover. Water will pool in the channels and that allows the water to run under the truck and keeps the bed dry.
