    It was an unusual car, didn't see that many around.

    Bought it with 21K on the clock.

    Once I had it completely rewired & got rid of the stock carb(replaced with a Weber), it was very reliable.

    E502344D-6FDF-4B29-BC6C-0DDDEB08F696.jpg Saw this today. A 1981 Special Edition Turbo T/A. It’s had one repaint but otherwise all original. Same motor and turbo. Funny thing is I rode in one identical to this in 1981 in the same small town the original owner of this one was from. This guy is the third owner. Makes me wonder if it’s the same one I rode in way back in 1981. I didn’t know the guy but I had my GTO and we were both admiring each others cars in the parking lot of a nightclub. His was brand new at the time and he offered up a ride in it. Slow car being from the 1981 smog era but pretty cool. Really cool seeing one today. He added the Hurst Dual Gate shifter. I had one in my GTO also.

    Rant alert but I suspect others here have seen it too . . .

    Ha, yup, I'm out of data for the month so my speed drops to below 300K. More than once now, I am responding to something on the previous page thinking that is the latest page because the next page has not loaded yet. The catch? Verizon [out of the kindness of their heart?? :rolleyes: Yeah, right] gave everyone an extra 5GB back in April and May for the pandemic. From June on, I am now suspiciously running out of data by the 20th and have to purchase extra 5GB chunks at $35 per to keep my speed . . . which I naturally refuse to do. I actually have documented proof we are not using more data. They don't care. Other than occasional shopping, and the inevitable Windows 10 update, a few forums like this is ALL I do on my laptop. Our phones are unlimited but global hot spot through my Iphone [here at home we are often just 3G] is not any faster than through the WIFI. SO, it is what it is . . .

    Back to the regularly scheduled porn . . . I wanna win this pretty badly. That means I should NOT be sharing it but like I'm gonna win it?
