So i suck i searching for topics in thr forum so asking here. I have a 2020 Offroad and want to upgrade my suspension to something better with a smoother ride. Not looking for anything more than a 1-2" lift. Mostly city driving

Any suggestions?

 

Bilstein 6112/5160 AAL ? IMO this setup is the best bang for a reasonable price. It all depends on your budget and what your plans are for the truck.

Aux Panel upgrade with a new dedicated relay box.


Upfitter switch retrofit is also solid

just need to figure out where to reinstall the rear-locker switch...

Took the dash parts out and finished the chrome delete inside during the rain this afternoon. I like it much better than the chrome. I wasn't totally sure on the chunky industrial look the AJT Design stuff has but now that it's all in together I like the look. It fits the truck.

 

Also Eibach pro lift is a good choice besides Bilstein. Planning on going that route myself in the near future with a 3 leaf aal in the rear. Can't go wrong with either.

 

Bilstein 5100s are a common upgrade all around.
If you want some lift in the rear without compromising the ride then look at an RMAS system.

I have a 2019 DCLB Off Road and went with the TRD Pro Fox Shocks. Total cost with alignment was $1600.00. The ride is tighter, smoother with less of that diving or floating feeling during braking or in curves. Is is factory tuned for the Tacoma and for me was a no brainer upgrade.

 

So you are saying if someone wanted they could buy the same for any Tacoma even an SR5? I might have to keep that in mind if so.

I painted and installed a TRD Pro skid plate.

 

Added my bearcat 880 to the taco. still need to run the coax and tune it.

 

This weekend added the MESO door handle covers and swapped all the interior lights for LEDs (Diode Dynamics).

Looks like a good paint job, unlike the job I did. I taped the letters off but did not remove the skid plate to paint. Thought everything was great until the tape came off. The only thing saving me is that 1) I’m usually the only one under my truck and 2) it will get dirty and scuffed up soon so my mistakes will be less noticeable. I won’t post a picture.

 

Nothing too grand today, but something I've been meaning and wanting to do for a long time now. Got the anytime 12v and USB put in, along with the in cab 120v / 400w anytime.

Been needing to happen for a while. Not having a way to charge things unless the truck is running or "on" is a serious PITA.

 

It was new and off the truck. The Letters being bright red would have clashed.

 

Question for you guys who mounted LED aux lights up on wiper area by windshield. Do you find that you experience a big glare off the hood paint as they project? I had been considering this upgrade but I was in a truck today and he turned his on and the glare/reflection was bright off the hood distracting from the off road view.

Just curious others point of view.
