First, I'm not blaming the MESO tail kit since all it is routing wire for both bulbs to lights up.

My '18 is blowing out LEDs every few months. First set was the Diode Dynamics XP80 and now the VLED Extreme V6. They don't all blow out but one after the other after few weeks the first blow out. It doesn't seem to be common as I've searched for any clues. The only mods done are the tail lights. All other bulbs are stock.
    Any clues will be appreciated.

Check for any corrosion in the total tail sockets. Should be any, as they are waterproof but doesn’t hurt to check. Look at the metal prongs in the socket(where the LED sits) and make sure they are bent out and make firm contact with the Led bulb base/connection. Any of those 2 can create more resistance. Although, I am starting to think Tacoma’s have had issues with over-voltage spikes on the brake circuit. I’ve seen it on the 3rd brake light where it smokes Baja’s. Try my stage 1 brake LEDS, they might work different?

Do those LEDs have any built in regulation circuits? I'm curious if the LEDs are dying or if its some other circuitry. The only real way to kill the LEDs themselves is to overcurrent them or really over volt them. But if there's more complication going on...

All of them have dielectric grease and tight as virgin.
After switching out to VLEDs, I made sure nothing moved.

It's always one side then other side but never both on same tail light.
