Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
I have a ComeUp Seal Gen2 12.5 winch. I watched the video on their website on how to clock the clutch. The video shows it moving freely back and forth after the bolts are out, but mine doesn’t move at all. Has anyone else had this problem?

I figured it out. It involves striking the drum portion of the winch with a suitable striking implement away from the clutch housing with sufficient force to separate the two. Now I just wish that the factory hadn’t stripped out one of the screw holes. Waiting on the dealer to reply to my warranty inquiry.

My seal 9.5 gen2 rs was my first winch install. The directions left much to be desired around clocking the clutch. I sufgered, I learned, I thought I had hardware issues. In my case I just was attempting to use the wrong holes at one point. Eventually it all came back together correctly.

I don't say this to mean you don't have a stripped screw. I just wanted to let you know I feel your pain. I like my winch a lot, I didn't enjoy the install much. Good luck.

I dropped it off at ComeUp in Portland and they took care of it. Winch is mounted and now I’m waiting on some custom made battery wires.
