How to clap out a 4.0

Seems like OP is bagging on under 18 year olds clapping out trucks in his area but wants to do the same to his. Color me confused.

 

@Andrew_Homan07, would trying to talk you out of this make any difference? Or are you dead-set on doing this?

OP do you mean chop sound instead of clap? Like a cammed v8 burble?

That's the only thing I can think of that makes sense in this dumpster of a thread..

 

Open your air intake, and start your truck, have a friend hold the rpm at 5k. Take handfulls of sand and toss into the intake. This is how you sandblasts your cylinder head, aka port polish.

Send it, this will make the 4.0 CLAP!!!

Running it without oil should clap it out pretty quickly... Not sure why you'd want to ruin your truck, but it's your $$

 

Do Not bring that crap into my neighborhood! I can diagnose it just by the sound... needs oil, bout 4 1/2 qts ... 4-bangrs are to be seen , not heard children

No I was just saying it’s what everyone does, and I might want to too but idk yet.

 

Hell no im not dead set, I’m seeing if this is an option becuase all my friends trucks clap like crazy and I might want to to, even though I don’t think it’s possible in a Tacoma, but I was just seeing if it was and if it sounds good.
