thanks man. ill look into this if it doesnt work out. fortunately our po is only so small and theres only so many parcel lockers it could be in. plus it was a sunday, so i doubt anyone checked mail. only reason i did, my deliveries is linked to my phone so i knew it came in, which again was on a sunday which is an oddity in and of itself lol. po opens in a few hours, so gonna catch some shut eye and hit em up first thing.

I replaced my shocks, struts, and leaf springs last night. I’m going to bring the truck to Toyota for an alignment. Do I need to re-flash to my stock tune file before bringing it in? I have a feeling when the technician test drives it, he’s gonna know it’s not the shitty stock tune. I want to maintain the warranty.

They can't see it ...... I wouldn't bother changing back to stock.
The Tech drives many different trucks / cars during his normal day ...... highly unlikely he'll note any different.

I've never reflashed back to stock for this. my truck isn't stock and there's no way to hide that. but you can if that's what helps you sleep at night.

Why would you take it to the dealership for alignment? Aren't there shops that specialize in lifted truck alignment around you?
And no, like it was mentioned, they can't see the tune so no worries about that. They may be able to feel the difference but they can't prove a tune and probably won't care anyway.

I've run into two different Master Techs at two different Toyota dealerships who

A: noted the ADM, and approved
B: are familiar with OVT products
C: assure anyone that this stuff won't void warranty, unless the warranty claim is on the specific part modified (can't make a claim on a clutch accumulator if it isn't there lol)

To address your question, not that I know of.

I swapped the parts out for the factory Fox Pro suspension so they can just align it to TRD Pro specs.

Sanity check...UPS shows my tactrix arrives tomorrow. I've got all the ecu update and vFTuner directions ready to go. I'm looking for the the non-editable interim 2.0 tunes for AT that we can flash with vFTuner. Are they the downloadable files located on the blog link (https://www.ovtuned.com/blogs/news/tacoma-2-0-final-auto-release), do they get emailed, or do I have to find someone who has them with a matching ecu? The blog page mentions flash tool/pf5, which I thought was the legacy product.

Those are the tunes that you need.

Both Flash Manager and vF use the same Flash Tool to load tunes into your ECU.

why does my drop down screen (interface) look blank here? should say tactrix open port 2.0 or something to that extent. also, after i press identify it just closes the flash tool and nothing happens. any insight?

Sorry! I so used to Flash Manager. It is in there.

I would recommend installing for access to other tunes:
    https://www.ovtuned.com/blogs/news/ovtune-tacoma-flash-manager-overhaul

That is interesting though, because those updates in FM were important in the past. The vF side might not need them? Although, it is the easiest way to get the Tactrix drivers.
