    Cheap solutions for Covid-19 boredom.......

Earlier, I posted my solution for a lockable tool box for my DCLB that didn't sit on the bed rails like the typical crossover toolboxes:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/bed-storage-solution-dclb-or-accesscab.641401/

After a couple trips with the boys, I realized that the tool box was just the right size for two of the medium Plano boxes. Some aluminum rails made from Home Depot stock prevent movement so the ratchet strap just has to hold them down (forward movement is prevented by the front bed rail). Overall, very happy with the result. Since the toolbox sits below the bed rails, I can still see behind me when the Plano boxes are in place.

FWIW the medium Plano boxes (56 qt.) are only $13.98 at Home Depot right now.

Thought about it but haven't gotten around to it - would be more convenient than what I'm doing. for now am using the factory ring down in the corner for the tie down points
