Got this exact same line from a junkyard where i live around 3 months ago to fix my AC. There’s another AC line you can buy that is from the 1995-1997 Tacoma’s that will work with your truck too but I’m not sure the part number. Have you checked your local salvage yards yet?

 

no recyclers in my area have anything this old. You say "2001 tac" and they don't even let you finish.

 

Check eBay already I’d assume? You may have to take a little bit of a drive in order to find the part you need. Where are you locatedv

Can confirm that both of those hoses above will fit your 2001 tacoma. I’ve had both types on my 1997 and the design was changed, but the length will still reach. Goodluck op
