2020 4x4 SR AC 2.7 liter - Bare Bones Base Model
    Happy I found this place!
Anyway, got my 1st new 'anything' in many years last week. (And I had to wait 3 months to get it..) A brand new 2020 SR 4x4.
It was/is the 'base' model, but it's what I wanted/needed. Reasons are:
1.) It was what I could afford ... I wanted to be able to cut a check for the whole thing at purchase time. NO 'payments' ..
2.) I wanted the 2.7L four cylinder ... I live in the boonies and EVERYthing is far away, so MPG was pretty important.. And I don't need gobs of HP as this is my grocery-getter and will be a Pavement Princess.. LOL!
3:) Wanted the Access Cab ... Will not be hauling around anyone but myself and the wife, and wanted the 6' bed ..
4:) But still had to be 4x4 as it's snow & ice here 4 months a year.
So, the base model fit perfectly with everything I needed. I know these aren't all that popular, so I'm guessing that's why I had to wait so long for the dealer to get one in. They had the more expensive/fancier ones sitting at the dealer, but they weren't what I really wanted.
I looked at other rigs, and spent countless hours pouring over ratings and reviews. And along with talking to some friends that had Tacos & 4Runners. After awhile, it became pretty clear ... Especially as Toyota has a GREAT track record of quality and reliability .. What truck I should buy.
I've owned many trucks before .. Dodge's, Ford's, Mazda's, Datsun's (Still have an F-250 and a Dodge B2500 Van) but this will be the first Toyota I've owned in a looooong time.
So, please, if I ask a question that may seem stupid .. It's not that I don't know 'trucks' .. It's just that I've never had a Taco before.
So far ... With 400 miles on it ... I'm LOVING it!

Thanks all! I think I'll like it here  LOL! I joined two Taco groups on facebook ... That lasted to days and then un-joined them. It was mostly people saying to each other 'Don't be stupid!'
Yeesh .... Facebook, right? Who needs that ...
I've been looking at some other articles and threads here and it looks like we have a lot of knowledgeable people here willing to help. Glad to be a part of it..
    Sorry steves104x4 ... Don't have pics of my old stuff .. I had a 72' Datsun 1600 PU and a 1990 Mazda B2200. Looooooong ago. (Yeah, I'm that old .. LOL!!)
