Why is it that if I’m on the phone with somebody and I can hear them breathing through their nose into the phone, it makes me cringe?

Seriously, it sounds like there’s a horse on the other line and I can’t stand it. It actually disgusts me for some reason.

I know exactly what you're talking about and they are the worst! You want to ask them to remove the mic from their nose

And also worst when you can't mute them because you expect them to talk so you have to listen to their heavy breathing throughout the entire call.

So that was you I spoke with this morning regarding my late shipment of almonds.

 

Story time...

The man who cut our tree down a couple weeks ago, he's a professional firefighter, (I've known him for 20+ years) and cuts trees on his days off. He lost his 17 year old son to a car accident 2 years ago, the same day his sister shot and killed herself. Not sure why.

Last week he took his other son to look at a tree job, I think he's 12 years old. They were in the front yard with the homeowner and a drunk driver ran off the road into the yard. He grabbed his son and threw him out of the way and the car hit the homeowner and cut both his legs off. He did first aid until paramedics arrived. He said he wasn't sure if he was going to make it.
