I'm trying to identify/source some of the same thread sealant you find preapplied to many plumbing fittings. It's a reddish color, waxy substance. I've been told it might be LOCTITE 516, but I'm not 100% sure of that so I'm looking for some confirmation before I order it.

This is the type of sealant I'm talking about:
