Will Gaia GPS on iPhone show on Apple CarPlay Display?

I'm considering getting a CarPlay head unit for my 2nd gen with JBL audio package, but only if it would show my Gaia GPS maps.

 

Head to your local audio shop and plug your phone in to one of their demo radios.

 

But judging by the list of GPS apps here, I doubt it

Yes, works great. Reason why I finally got Gaia to try out. The one caveat is most of the settings you still manage on the phone, head unit mostly just displays the map. But way better than driving through the mountains trying to look at your map on a tiny phone screen.

 

Used it this weekend, worked great!
