Got my 2.0’s installed last week. These are f@&!ing awesome! 700 lbs Springs. They kill stock and can’t imagine what the 2.5’s or resis with adjusters do. No harsh ride. No feeling like I’m hitting a wall. No more dives while breaking or cornering. They are fantastic. Firmer than stock but better. Also @elka has some of the best customer service. Emailed the random link and had a full conversation with their VP of OEM/Marketing. Got them through @HeadStrong Off-Road and Marie. Everyone knows how awesome they are. I was treated like I was buying a. Level 11 suspension. Can’t wait to upgrade

I got the Elka 2.0s and SPC UCAs installed over the weekend. These things are a major upgrade over the 2" block lift!
Looking forward to see how they perform and last through the winter and offroad.
Now I need to get some shock boots to protect them from our stupid winter...

(I cranked them up wayyyy too high. They are much lower now lol)

    3 months now.

These things are still running awesome! They are holding up to the Canadian climate (even though it has never been this warm before in December lol)
I did a check on them the other day before coating them in fluid film and all is good! I picked up some neoprene boot shock covers... sadly I could only find Icon ones... LAME!
Does anyone know to take the logo off the boot cover?

Turn it to the inside, facing away from the viewer? Or can it be turned inside out?

Just over a year on the Elka 2.5 adj res here.
    Zero complaints.
Took me a little bit to find the happy place, with the adjusters.
Can go from soft/mushy to cement truck feel.

These thing really shine in a high speed offroad setting...50-60mph in the gravel and not scary. Very controlled feel.

Actually prefer this to the GX460 ride right now. That GX feels every crack in the road.
    T4R is a smoother/softer ride.

Last suspension (Rancho 9000) i would get a bounce/rebound/bounce/rebound then settle.
Elkas are a bounce/rebound then settle. Way more controlled feeling.

Only issue is i am hitting the front remote reservoirs at full steering lock.
Thought i had not moved the remote part up into the bracket enough but still hit on occasion after moving them up more.

I've got about 10k km on my Elkas now, absolutely loving them. Had a small issue with the low speed adjusters but there was a fix bulletin out and Krave took care of me. Like @BackOff says, these things shine in the high speed stuff. Absolute wizardry on rough FSRs, I've passed people picking their way through things at 20km/h where I can comfortably cruise at 80 over the same terrain.

Unless you're running pretty heavy, the stock valving is definitely on the firm side, I only need about two or four clicks higher than the softest possible setting off road but I'm running fairly light weight.

I put on some Icon neoprene shock boot covers to protect the new precious Elka's. I flipped the the covers inside out because who puts Icon covers on Elka's?! lol

Yes and the velcro is very strong. It's actually a well built product.
Krave mentioned to me that I should regularly take them off and clean the shock and boot. Salt can still get in there. So I will be doing this monthly. I also have fluid film all over the shock.

FYI I got the long covers. The short ones will not work the best.

I could use some help. But first I will share that I plan to call Elka tomorrow. But I want the forums knowledge on this too. I installed the Elka 2.5 IFP’s with 650lb springs (standard travel) on my 2018 ORSB yesterday. They were supposed to have shipped having been set at 1.5 inches of lift as a default by Elka. However when installed there was no difference over OEM height. So I put 10 full turns on each coil over and only gained 1.5 inches. My goal is 2 inches. The manual advises against going more than 10 turns. But they don’t make a distinction between 10 total turns from the very top or 10 turns from the default 1.5 inch preload. When I took them out of the box the visible threads over the collar were about 3/8”. Same on both which is odd too as most of these I’ve seen accommodate more threads to level the drivers side. As it sits now with 1.5 inches after I added 10 turns there’s just under 1” of exposed threads on each coil over. Do you guys thinks it’s safe to put another five turns on each to get the last half inch I’m looking for? Probably talking another 3/8” of threads over the collar.

Haven't messed with my coilovers height. Interested to hear what Elka says for future potential needs (winch weight).

What is your center hub to bottom of the wheel well flare/trim piece.
