I've had my 06 Access Cab Prerunner since 2009, and I've been using TW forums since day 1 for all my info on maintenance and DIY mods. Now I'm trying to get a pair of receiver hitch reinforcement brackets, but can't post in B/S/T without the minimum messages/comments. So hi. Hopefully I can put some "quality" content here.

Of course the rules say you can't post in B/S/T for someone else, so no use asking, but in case anyone who reads this just happens to have what I need or know someone, I'd be quite grateful.

    I need these 2 L-brackets, part #51998-04020
Of course the stealership would be glad to sell them to me for half the price of a new hitch receiver, but I'm hoping someone has them laying around or even bolted to their truck but not being used by an aftermarket bumper.

    Cheers.

I'm not trying to use the forums as craigslist. In addition to needing these brackets to finish my tow package installation, I also have a bunch of parts to sell that I'm sure others will be interested in - brand new Eibach coils, for example. Sure, if I acted like other noobs and posted "Hey, how do I do XXXXXX??" without ever searching for the answer first, I'd probably have 1000 posts and messages since I bought my Taco, but I've always used the search feature and taken the time to read - and let's face it, almost everything 2nd Gen has been done before by someone, and most with a write-up.

So thanks for the sarcasm, but feel free to take it elsewhere.

I just finished installing an oil cooler, trans cooler, rear air bags, 7-pin with all the wiring, and a brake controller. For every one of those things I referenced tutorials on TW, but there was no reason to needlessly post about them or ask about them when I could find them myself and follow along. The final piece of my tow package install is upgrading from an old Curt Class III hitch receiver to OEM Class IV, and the Curt has the L-brackets welded on while the OEM requires separate parts.

Thanks, guys! Hopefully I'll get some pics up this weekend of my old beater and some of the work I've done with the help of TW write-ups over the years.
