Trying to remove the crappy 10mm hex drain plug in my front diff and service it for the first time in near 100k miles....:anonymous: Then replace it with the new plug sans the hex. The new plug has a normal bolt, so I shouldn't have trouble getting it out again in future. I have also secured an air hammer.. my plan of attack is to first put the truck up on ramps and heat the old plug with a torch and see if i can get it out with a breaker bar and leverage. If not, then I will use the air hammer.

If you know someone with a welder, maybe have them on standby. The best method is welding a nut on, because the heat really helps cracks it free.

All clean, even used soap on the old gal. Then cleaned the interior too, as well as the windows. Since I’m driving 10 hours to TN in a few days to go wheeling, I want to be in a clean truck.

I searched this thread and last year you didn't recommend the Whiteline bushings. Does that statement still stand?

Yes, simply due to the fact that greasing them is a pain in the ass. You have to remove the lca entirely, pop out the metal sleeve, grease it, and reassemble. It’s not that large of a job, but it’s something to keep in mind. Most people won’t want to do that.

That's not too awful. Going to give my lca a refresh since I can almost guarantee I'm going to have to cut out my camber bolts. I even went as far as to order some new lbj from the UAE. I would REALLY like either a Total Chaos or Dirt King arm but I'm going to try this as a budget option first.
