hello, i want to ask anyone who has knowledge about electrical wirings on 3rd gen. i mean im planning to connecting an aluminum dash top mount into the radio bolt. i made an improvise dash mount that will attach/connect to the radio bolt so i would not do any drilling. my question is if it is ok to attach/connect any aluminum material on the radio bolt? my very concern is there might be a short circuit or malfunction that might occur in the future.

As long as you don't pinch or hook a wire you should be fine. Just watch out for being to heavy or to much leverage to snap the plastic.
