Destroyed my front diff drain plug...

    Damn ordered that earlier thinking the real pain in A was the Fill Plug on the front diff. Since the Fill plug is smaller 10mm, it would round easily or easier than the drain plug? (12mm)

    Maybe it's because the torque is higher on the drain plug. It's gotta be the drain that's what I said when starting this thread.

    I still don't know how people strip these out. I got the one of of my first gen with zero issues and that was WI/MN truck that had a frame replacement. I also was able to easily remove the one in my third gen.

    I'm using the Snap On 10mm hex that's super short so it doesn't twist. I think Hazet makes this size hex built into a long wrench for BMW diffs if I recall. I sold all my BMW speciality tools years ago

    wasn't too tight, but I was also at work using a big ratchet. I went with Redline's GR5 compatible fluid. I believe I had 6 bottles total for front and diff together.
