    hey dan,

that's awesome that things are looking up. just came across this thread and wanted to say if you ever have any questions about medication in the future, i'm a pharmacist and would be happy to help where i can. there's a lot of different types of anti-depressants, each with their strengths and weaknesses. they're not always prescribed at their most effective dose either.

i'm glad she's used medication as a bridge to get her through the worst of it, but like many others on this thread have mentioned, there are other tools (regular exercise being one of the best because it makes a person feel good about themself and increases self-confidence) she can use.

it's good to hear that you've determined the main problem cause (the job).

i wish you both the best, and feel free to pm me anytime you have a question for a pharmacist.

    That's awesome to hear!!

I always wondered how people are able to manage on one income and paying for school at the same time. That's gotta be hard on ya also.
Keep it fresh, keep your chin up and things always manage to work themselves out as long as you're willling to work thing out.

    Good Luck!

My wife is a psychologist so I've picked up a few facts along the way. This is not necessarily your fault, her fault, or anyone else's fault. Sometimes shit just happens. Nor are you guys alone on this. I don't remember the exact statistic, but something crazy like half of all women over a certain age suffer from at least minor mental problems and many of them are on meds.

Keep working with the doctors. Also be sure to encourage natural remedies like healthy diet and plenty of exercise. I've heard this can really make a difference.

Good luck, hang in there, support her, and my thoughts are with you.
