That’s brutal. Too bad. Believe it or not, many rural areas of Canada still have no cell service and it would be nice to have a paper copy now and then.

“Later models similar”. Just add that at the beginning of every chapter. Too easy. What a joke.

That's always been my problem with Haynes Manuals; their just too generic. This is a prime example of that (there are not a lot of similarities between an '05 Taco and a '20). I generally buy paper copies of the FSM for all my vehicles and have them in a cabinet in my garage. For my later model vehciles I get better information from the 'Net. For a couple of my vehicles (such as one MC I have) from the '60's the paper manual is pretty much my only source of info. I'm also a prolific note-taker so for the manuals I have in .PDF form I'll just print-out the section I need for whatever I'm doing so I have something I can take notes on.

This they're basically good enough to wipe your ass with.

I rather have a Helms or Bentley manual

It looks like Helms has yet to put out any repair books for the Tacoma despite being an OEM supplier for owners manuals

Didn’t Chilton also publish repair manuals?
