First you have the Toyota tax and now the COVID-19 tax because it is an ultra rare 2020!

In 1000 years yes, they will be considered rare

Only S-Runners and Access Cab TRD Pro's are rare.

Stop.... or I'll start crying. Sold my '85 Cabriolet in 2004 for $19k. Can't find one in comparable shape for less than $65k.

I turned down a one owner 1976 Carrera 3.0 in the mid nineties because I thought $10 or $12k was expensive for a tired 911. It was cosmetically sharp, but the top end of the engine was getting tired. I think those are six figures now

I'm holding a 2015 Cayman GTS right now. I briefly considered the new 718 CGTS with the 4.0L, but sticker shock reminded me I have it pretty good. The 50HP bump would be really nice, and I do think the 718 looks a smidge better than the 981.

But to keep the post relevant... I don't think there will be anything special about 2020 Tacos. There might be a *slight* residual bump for Pro models with *rare* colors, but that won't be revealed for 15 years.

It seems like the 2nd gen 2012-2015 single cab 4WDs are hard to find. Theres barely a handful on Cars and Autotrader. Some of them seem to sell for what they sold for new

Tell me about it....Ordered a new 930 in 1987. Still have the factory order build: Grand Prix white w/burgundy leather, sunroof. Was $62k plus out the door. Traynor Porsche Audi in Fairfield, CT.

Sold it after awhile and thought I was pretty slick 'cause I only lost about $15k....Now? A one-owner 930 Turbo w/full documentation would bring well over $100k :-(

33 years of insurance ($50/month) would put you at about $82k total. Add maintenance and you're probably at $100k. But hey, 33 years of driving enjoyment for free... that's gotta be worth something. I've only had one single owner Porsche, my Macan, and I still miss it.

I had a 10yo single owner FJ and 'sort of' regret trading it on the Taco vs. holding it in addition to the Taco. I just didn't have the garage space for a 4th vehicle and needed a little more tow rating than the FJ. 185k miles over 10 years and the only part I fixed was replacing an alternator at 130k. My FJ experience was bulletproof. In retrospect, the FJ may have pulled what I plan for okay... but towing cross country on a 200k+ mile vehicle does cause a little concern.

I do think the FJ's are going to be collectors.

Wasn't that the "Caddy that zigged" or something along those lines...?
IIRC, it wasn't even a Caddy.

That was the Catera, if memory serves. Another sad mistake in a long, storied tradition of sad mistakes.

One can never have too many light bars.
More rare than other years? Yeah maybe a little bit. Will it hold it's value any differently than any comparable model year? Negative ghostrider.
