Remote Start : 2 Way Remote or Smartphone

Wanting to add remote start but going back and forth on remote or smartphone activated in 16 SR5 Tacoma Had Compustar on 2001 Tundra so used to a remote but like the smartphone idea. I picture more times than not Either my hands will be full to use phone or sun will be too bright to see screen. Thoughts will be appreciated.

 

I got the N2 designs remote start and the phone application. It works with no issues and the app itself can tell you the position and if the truck is locked or not.

 

If you have good cell service in the area then smartphone is the only way to go.
