Details for the picture or the trail being out? Picture was taken beside lake Lawtonka on the south side by medicine park. The trail outage was just south of Pernell on E 1700 Road. The circled part is out. I just went down to road on the bottom and cut across and then got back on the trail.44B76102-94D5-410C-AB8F-5B72322FE403.jpg

Beautiful day on Stanley Draper. I haven't been out on this lake in years, but decided to check out the water and fishing. Also found some rose rocks.

    I don't miss doing touch-and-goes on a Sunday afternoon.

And found the smallest amount of mud from one dirt trail they left open to a fishing point.

I miss mudding around the lake when I was a young and dumb airman.

No worries, I just used the Lawton to Marlow then Marlow to Sulphur portion of the Oklahoma adventure trail.
I really like the color more and more and, what bed rack did you get and do you recommend it?

Thanks! I love the color. I don't know if I could get any other if/when I get a new truck (in like 10+ years).
I'm using Expo Bars from BAMF. They were cheaper (and free shipping) than had a lower advertised lead time than any other mounting solution within the parameters I was looking for. No real complaints about the design or construction.
Here's my post on them: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...een-build-thread-and-bs.667847/#post-23467637

I'll mention that the bases are 'keyed' in that one set is slightly wider than the other, to accommodate the top width changes on the bed. Of course, I didn't notice this until after I installed the 200lb tent. Not a big deal, but a nice detail in the design of the bars. I'll swap them when I get a garage hoist.

Umm, kinda just an old rickety barbed wire/wooden gate across the road... my guess is it’s a hunting lease that they close off during fall months.

Had a Great weekend in the Okemah deer woods. My Sons 8 is bigger, but my 8 is nice and symmetric. Nice to be Buck Bonding with the Boy.

Shoot mine straight on in the neck, but didn't find an exit wound. So I did a little CSI in the entrails and actually found the bullet, first time in all my years I've found the bullet in a deer I killed.

Very cool. What caliber did you shoot it with? I’ve never had a bullet stop inside a deer

30-06 at 100 yards. That's what surprised me, I figure it went in his neck it would've exited the other end, but it didn't. That's why I poked around.

Especially after sighting it in at 75 yds the weekend before. 2 shots, 1 inch grouping and straight through a T post. I didn't expect that either.

Wow. I shot through a T-post once on accident. I had no clue how I could have missed the deer until I walked to the feeder and saw a big chunk of T-post missing. Haha
