My wife and I both teach. This is a stressful start to the school year! We went back this past Friday and the kids start the day after Labor Day. All the unknowns are stressing us out! Good luck this year!!

Thank you for what you do every day! I have great respect for teachers and the critical work that each of you do. I feel your stress, brother! I have reminded my staff that this year is a collaborative year like no other. It will take all of us working together to get our kids to where they need to go. Kind of like this forum...we don’t have to reinvent the wheel... Especially when someone has already done it and done it well. Remember clarity reduces anxiety and relationships come before curriculum. Take care of yourself so you can take care of others. Stay strong!

Finished box "A". I had to redo a couple of wires in box "B".
I made the 12ga. wires for both boxes long enough that they can reach the battery and ground without adding more wire.
I also made the wires for the inverter long enough that one will reach the main junction box (100A fuse) and the other will reach the passenger side under the hood (where the wire from the inverter is run).

Now I need to cut mounting holes in my plate I bought from Paranoid Fab.

Put a couple 9" pro comps in my bull bar. I found the bull bar off some guy here on TW for free a couple months ago and grabbed it for when I pulled the trigger on these lights. I have them aimed to light up the side of the road to help me spot deer when driving over mountains after dark. Stock toyota lights are absolute poo, and these make a nice difference. I have them wired up so I flip a switch, and they will turn on and off with my brights.

    Never enough
Well in true best timing fashion my AC crapped out on my 2015 yesterday. Right before hottest week of the year, 107 all week...was idling in a parking lot when what sounded like a belt squealing happened for a couple seconds. Turned AC off and went away, turned on and it happened again for a second or two before stopping and AC light started flashing. Guessing my compressor shit the bed. Seems pretty weird for a 2015 but who knows. Trying to get it taken care of under warranty but not too hopeful. Anyone have any other ideas besides compressor? May end up doing it myself, doesn't look too terrible. Thanks!

Small switch panel I'm working on. Where is it going? I'm not sure. I was thinking about next to the third cup holder if I can make a straight hole.

I saw the panel one day at work (Lexus) and ordered one. Part number is 55447-60080

I just realized the the light icon for the rock lights is bigger than all the other icons I have on my switches. Time to order a replacement. Damn OCD.

It certainly feels like that, doesn’t it? Hopefully things will calm down soon...until then I guess we will be writing the playbook as we go.

No pictures unfortunately. Had to chop the exhaust off just after the rear diff. Also had to cut the 2 tabs that hold the factory size spare in place. Took some working to get it in place and clear of everything but plenty of room under there.

sweet. I was gonna paint my skids white until I settled on ARB and they come in a white/grey/silver already so white will be for the touch ups.

    what's that hose hanging down?

Sprayed DEI Boom Mat Spray, to the front wheel wells. Used 4 cans altogether, they dont go very far. 2 per wheel well. Will conduct a highway road noise test with before and after results soon.

20200822_193434.jpg Got my final design of my rack installed and testing it out.

Got some time to install my isolator for my dual batteries, relay box, and some other stuff that will be running power to my bed for fridge, water, lights, and 12v accessories.
Still waiting on parts to finish up all the power distribution in the bed but its charging the batteries now!20200831_170856.jpg

Good to see more teachers on here. Today was also my first day back this year. It's gonna be an interesting one since we are all distance learning until at least January. Good luck to you all.

On my page there's a post with more explanation but here are the before and after results. An average drop of 1 DB A. And a larger 3.4 DB difference in peak measurements.
