I recently purchased a 2006 Tacoma that had a diy headlight assembly job. The lows often times don't work when I turn off my high beams, and I want to go back to factory wiring and assemblies. I purchased a pair of refurbished oem assemblies, but they didn't come with wires. I'm wondering if anyone knows what I need to buy specifically, or where I can buy a wiring kit to get back to factory. I don't know anything about wiring or diy truck mods, but I asked a shop, and they said it might be spendy if they were to look for the wiring. So I am asking you guys. This is my first post ever, so I apologize if this is not the right format, location, or if it makes no sense.

    contact these people - www.headlightservices.com

they sell an upgauged harness with better connectors and relays for use with higher current lamps, which would probably be the way to go since you are replacing stuff anyway.

I think they can make fully custom harnesses for any needs so I am sure, even if you need more than the above, that they could help you out.

Unplug the connector off 1 of your headlights and post a pic of the connector. If they really did chop off the factory connectors, you’ll need to do some solder and heat shrink work. That Headlight Services harness would be a great way to start and you would only need to splice into the drivers side factory headlight wires.
