    Hi there,

One month ago I had a steering rack replaced on 2009 TRD. (leaking lines). Replaced with a OBB rack.

I now can hear and even feel a squeek from my steering when behind the steering wheel.

When I crawl under the front and someone jerks the steering wheel back you can hear a squeek coming where the rod comes down from the steering wheel and plugs into the new rack.

Fluid level good. Steering while driving works well. No groans etc.

I can feel the very slight sensation of the squeek when I drive... But can only hear it when I am parking etc.

    It definetly sounds like rubber..

Hopefully just something that needs greased!

If anyone had any ideas that would be great?

    Thanks just now.

The boot around the steering shaft is probably dry, spray it with some lube and see if it goes away
