I've always been itchin' to get myself into a Taco and have some great adventures outdoors. Finally pulled the trigger when Toyota offered the 0% during the COVID-19 pandemic. I want to keep the looks clean as possible but after exploring around offroading, I now know this was not going to be the case.

A little background about myself; I was big into the import tuner car scene (maybe still am?) but sold my babies to fund my investments. Namely a house and other business ventures. My last race car was a 370z:

Anyways, hopefully you guys enjoy this adventure...

Bought the Taco from Longo Toyota during the Memorial Day sale:

    Tacoma01.jpg
First purchase was my Work S1HC from @ShowstoppersUSA out here in Glendale CA. I originally wanted SCS F5 but wouldn't know when they were going to be instock. Seeing I had Volkracing Rays TE37SLs on my Z, I wanted TE37Vs on the Taco. BUT I thought I would cry if those got scratched up:

    DSC01297.jpg DSC01291.jpg
A friend of mine was able to get two sets of NFab Nerf Bars and hooked me up with one of them. I really want rocksliders but I couldn't pass up this deal. He also introduced me to the TRD Pro Grill + Light combo from https://builtnko.com/ as she was local to me:

    DSC01372.jpg DSC01377.jpg DSC01387.jpg DSC01389.jpgDSC01386.jpg DSC01381.jpg DSC01383.jpg
I purchased a couple different suspension parts ranging from ICON to Kings but ended up selling all them to get the Eibach Pro Lift system. It was really good bang for the buck and I was able to save some money for my tires. PLUS they JUST came out with the 2.0 Front Coilovers:

    _C0A9205.jpg _C0A9206.jpg _C0A9219.jpg _C0A9212.jpg _C0A9215.jpg
I also bought some SPC Upper Control Arms from @ShowstoppersUSA and had @GHOST SHIP do the install and BMC/CMC. Super chill guy and very knowledgeable:

Soon after, I bought tires from a friend that worked at American Tire Depot who also owns a Taco and took care of my install. The tires I got were Yokohama Geolander M/T 295/70/17 and they sure were beefy! I have some rubbing on the front fender liner and just a tad in the rear. The CMC clears though so it's all just plastic. I'm definitely going to have to trim a little more or pull the trigger and purchase a front bumper:

I'm happy with the way she sits at the moment and after my first Off-Road trip to Utah, I definitely want to purchase things to help me navigate the trails. I.E. front bumper, rock sliders, beefier skid plate, and more... oh well, Adventure Awaits.

First OR Trip; Toquerville Falls, Utah:

My brothers, a couple cousins, and I set out on the Red Canyon Jeep Trail. Just got my spare and rigged it at the back of my bed. A temporary solution:

Pulled the trigger on Saint's Off-Road Alpha bumper. No more rubbing the in the front! Also installed an Amazon 30" Lightbar for now to complete the look. I might change it depending on performance or when/if condensation builds up inside.

Barcelona Red was my last choice when I was shopping for mine. Had I seen yours before buying, I most definitely would have shopped for a Barcelona Red.

I've always wanted a red vehicle, lol. My last one was a blue element. Don't get me wrong, I loved it. Something about RED that really interested me. Thanks again for the kind words!
