Hey all, I’m looking to get the 3.5 TC LT kit. I’m wondering if it works with the rims I have. I notice a lot say you need 16s for other kits. I have 15x8 -27 offset passenger rims. Any help will be appreciated before I pull the trigger or have to buy new rims.

These came from the first gen section of their website so if the stock 15” wheels fit I’d imagine there’s a chance yours will too. You should call them up but based on these pics (you can scroll through more - I only went through half). Since your kit uses stock spindles the only area you’d have to check for is the lca IRRC.

Interesting I didn’t see the pics before. I did email them figured I would ask on here also. Would hate to have to buy new rims lol

Their website’s pretty weird for 1st gen stuff. That’s where I clicked for the photos but in another part of their site it only has 2 photos on that link so I think it’s just their kind of loosely organized site that’s making that happen.

I gotta say their first gen pics make me excited ro see more first gen builds. There’s something just so good about a light truck with nicely setup suspension.

The stock wheels do fit, I had them as spares. Depends what tire you run, as the letters on the tires rubbed the spindle gussets (Bfg 33x12.5r15 muds). My normal wheels are 15x8 -4.5" backspace and fit great. You really want the wider rims eventually.

Ooo I have those tires now. They did respond and say they will work. Plan on ordering them next week we’ll see how it goes a month from now when I get it on

16 inch rims are nice for larger brakes.

Don't forget to do the cam tab gussets while you are in there. Re plate the frame side engine mount and put a plate on bottom of it. Make or plate the rubber engine mounts to solid. Enjoy!
