I completely understand where you guys are coming from. The Sport stock suspension is harsh on road and off. Kudos to anyone that can tolerate it.

This is why I :deadhorse: and say to give the sway bar delete a test. With almost 30k with it off, lots of corners hooned, and a few emergency swerves, I know that it works great for me.

By worth it you mean free.

    If you live the
I just think it’s better to pay for something that is useful vs pretty. Road manners are subjective and most don’t like the sport suspension. I did not mind it.

Sorry to hurt your feelings. I don’t care what truck anyone drives. I’ve had a sport and off-road.

It doesn't matter what OP wants. All that matters is what OR owners want him to have.

I had a 2017 Off Road for 2 years. It was a good truck and I have nothing against the Off Road trim. I felt the suspension was too soft, which led to a lot of body roll and nose dive when braking. My Sport doesn't do that. I also never needed the locker or crawl control during those two years. So, I have no use for either of those features. If it's useful to you, great. My gripe is people continually pushing the OR when OP has expressed zero interest in it. Not only this thread but literally any thread that mentions buying a Tacoma. It's a running joke on here.

Hurt my feelings? Don't flatter yourself bud. I work in an office that does billing and collections. You could call me all sorts of names and still be the most pleasant conversation I've had today.

Maybe we should quit trying to help OP and force him into an Off Road. Then when he complains about the squishy suspension, we can tear him a new one!

Also, I call dibs on being the first to ask him "did you test drive?"

Obviously he should buy the OR and spend $1k+ upgrading the suspension for maximum off-roadiness because he might go on the Rubicon some day. Just in case.
