Who all would be down for a Moab trip. Me and Matt were supposed to go this past summer but the Rona fucked it all up. So next summer for us after the kiddos are out of school I'm taking mine. We were going to make a 20 day trip out of it wheelin and checking out CO as well. Next year though. I'd like to do KAT and the GA traverse I know we are planning to do that one public trail down in GA it's part of the Jeep badge of honor stuff forget the name and there are a couple parks in GA I'd like to ride. Definitely want to get down to OK and ride Disney and a few other parks. I've got a long list and really need to just plan them and see who wants to ride and if anyone does or can great if not just do it anyways.

Im down to do whatever if I have the time. As long as it’s something my truck can do and not leave parts laying on the trail! I’m sure there are more Bama folks that would love to do a trip like this.

The big frog loop is the real last off road portion but the actual trail goes on to Alabama

Id rather drive to that point i pointed out and then drive the trail back home instead of driving the trail then coming home.

That's when we were going to go end of june through July. Was going to hit St. Louis on the way home July 4 and watch the Fireworks over where the mississippi and st louis rivers meet. We were going to wheel the trail from CO to Moab and some of the harder stuff in CO as a warm up for CO. Our only stigma for Moab was to not do any of the crazy rim trails

That's always the plan to not leave parts on the trails. But we've done a lot of that and recovery for broken stuff that I'm getting pretty good at fixing and over coming those adverse conditions. Practice makes perfect right. :anonymous:

Moab is well worth it. I'm headed to Mount Elbert, CO end of February for some snow camping/wheeling.

I'd love to do the trail from Moab to Telluride. My buddy in Denver has done it. I want to say it was maybe 150 miles of offroad.

That may be the same one. Montrose is about 45 minutes away from Telluride. We had to fly into Montrose and then drive into Telluride. The mountain(Mt. Wilson) that is/was on the Coors can was outside the neighborhood where parents of a good friend had a house. Daryl Hannah owned it before them. His first Jeep was a Jurassic Park Jeep from Spielberg(He was a neighbor).

If you hit Montrose, it's worth a ride up to Telluride. They have no chained stores(only mom and pop type stores) and you can see Ralph Lauren's ranch on the left side for what seems like 30 minutes

This is all from early 2000's. That was the last time I was there.

My guess is that he hydro locked it and bent or broke a rod or two.
That’s almost exactly what happened to mine. I was really worried I bent a rod. It didn’t idle right for about 20 minutes. I haven’t had any trouble with it since but it is still in the back of my mind.
