Enkei 20" TSS Wheel Fitment

Anybody out there with a Tacoma with Texas TSS 20" Enkei chrome 7-spoke wheels willing to check something out for me? Here's my problem (maybe): I took off some 16" Gulf States chrome wheels and replaced them with the Enkei Texas Edition (I think) 20" Enkei wheels. The bolt pattern was fine & it fit perfectly; however, I noticed that each wheel, when fully mounted to the hub, has about a 3/32" gap between the wheel and the hub, i.e., there is no surface contact at the normal lug/wheel area. Instead, the only contact appears to be at the center of the wheel and the hub (there is a taper ring which is part of the hub which seems to fit into the wheel. The truck drives fine at all speeds and there is no vibration whatsoever. My only concern is that my old wheels have a discernable contact pad at each of the lugs which interfaces with the hub - and these wheels do not. Basically, I'm concerned about possible shear stresses on the lug bolts which would result in a wheel coming off. Sooooo, would somebody with a Texas TSS Tacoma take a look at their wheels to see if the noted gap is evident on their vehicle? You can easily see it by looking between any of the spokes at the wheel/hub interface. Thanks in advance for any help. In the meanwhile, I'm scanning the local parking lots for similarly configured Tacomas so I can check myself......

P.S. I have since bought some 6mm aluminum spacers, but am reluctant to install them since I suspect it may affect the wheel/hub centering ring described above.

 

Hold the phone --- I prepared to install the 6mm spacers this morning & noticed I didn't have an issue after all! What I thought was a gap between the wheel & the hub was actually a bevel on the wheel, i.e., there is full contact between the wheel & the hub, which is quite a relief. Whew!!
