Finally got my truck back. Waited three hours for the update. And they didn’t do the last thing I asked. I told them if any of the old cv boots were in decent shaped I’d take them for spares. Oh well, fuck it. There are better options for that.

Hey, spotted on my way home. McArthur in San Leandro.

It really isn't. It's only a few hours to pull the axles and third members out.

If that. There's not much to it at all. The hardest part is not damaging the ARB copper line and not dropping the diff on your face when your doing it. A small transmission jack comes in real handy for that.

I think I used a floor jack back when I replaced my rear axle seals. I have a transmission jack now, but I guess either would work.

Yep. I did it with my floor jack the first time I installed my diff too. The trans jack is so much nicer and safer. lol

It was a mix. In the cool burn areas hopefully the trees will survive but we will see. In the hot areas some burned completely, but other were still standing with white hot spots at there bases. For those trees the silhouette of the roots below ground were all white on top of the ground from the burning of the roots underground and they will likley die soon (fall over due to burnt roots). On 1700 acres we may have lost 50%+ of the trees. We will see what is still standing after the rainy season.

Has anyone here used 4x4 and more in Scott’s Valley?
    They’re pretty close to me.
Im looking for shops that are closer to me than Rear End Specialties in Santa Clara.

I went to them once to get rear brake lines swapped out and bleed the lines. Charged $100 which seemed reasonable but I supplied the parts. I liked the fact that they will let you provide your own parts rather then letting them buy from who knows where and charging a markup. Have not had chance to go back as trying to do most work myself but would go to them if I need to replace something beyond my limited capabilities

    Cool, good to know.
I’m looking at a regear and front locker. I can take care of the air supply, switch and wiring for the locker but the actual locker itself and regear are beyond my skill set for sure.

Never had work done to my truck but just had them rebuild a set of coilovers. Did a good job as far as I can tell.

While im usually turned off by the black and green "monster energy drink" trucks, this truck may be the first exception lol

needs green halos? which im also not usually a fan of, but think you look goood on this truck.

What did you do for rock lights?
