Noise just started a few weeks ago.
I'm pretty sure it is coming form the front end.
It sounds like road noise from aggressive mud tires even though I have street tires on it.

As the speed climbs, the noise climbs. The noise either stops, or is hard to hear when i get to 60ish MPH. I just noticed the other day that when I turn right (around a curve and still going fast enough to still hear the sound) that the sound stops. It starts once again when the wheel straighten out after the curve. The sound does not stop when I turn left, only right.
i am leaving town in 3 days for my annual Dove hunt, and I HAVE to have my truck....

Anyone give me a good idea where to start? and anyone in NTX that has a shop free enough to take this on in the next day or so?

Sounds like a bad wheel bearing

Agreed with above. It's a wheel bearing.

Does it go away when turning left or right while moving? This will help you isolate which side is bad. If it goes away when turning left,, it's probably the front left one that's bad and vice versa. Basically it's unloading the bearing when youre turning and that makes the noise go away. I'd buy a pair, but just replace the one that's bad and then keep the other around for the future.

I should have known some one with the profile name of @BassAckwards wouldnt know left from right. JK! You did say "probably "

The sound did go away when turning right. And the guy at O'Reilly did say most of the time it is the Right side. Sooooo.... i replaced the right side. Went for a test drive, and sure enough... the sound was still there. So back up to O'Reilly, got another assembly, and replaced the Left side. Went for a test drive, and the noise is gone.

Thanks for everyones help. And @BassAckwards i was just bustin your balls.

If it starts up again something similar I’d replace the needle bearing with the ecgs bushing in the front diff.
It’ll sound like you driving on rumble strips in 2wd in 4wd it’ll go away.
