Seem like a good one? https://www.amazon.com/Neewer-centi...qid=1598965010&sprefix=tripod,aps,185&sr=8-52

has the twist lock legs, converts to monopod, 66" height and 26.5 lb rating. From what I've gathered over the past day looking at tripods, this one seems to check all the boxes at just under $100.

Plus 985 reviews for a 4+ star rating. My fear is not spending the extra $30 on one that comes recommended.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
The real question is how much that companies pays to be in that little Recommended Box. Lol

I mean Joe Blows Landscaping is right in front of me, but the recommended company is AMG Landscaping is $30 more!

I should have specified...."than paying the $30 more for a brand recommended by another person on TW."

Might be just as good. It seems to check all the boxes, so I think I'm going to order it. I just hate spending that much money on a tripod. That absolutely seems like something that should have good alternatives.

on second thought, maybe I'll just make one out of some spare 2x4. :annoyed:

Yes yes, bring wheel barrows of cash to help pay for the raw barn wood I need to wall the rooms in of the mtn house.
I am about to start ripping this thing apart and creating one badass fortress!

I just decided I’m heading to Windrock. Will likely be crowded due to ATR going on but I hope to head towards the back of the park with less traffic. With 80,000 acres of trails I should be able to find something

a lot of bad ass stuff
I can imagine how packed the front of th epark will be. forget about trail 22, lol
Its always fun to go hit the pavement and head to the back of the park and come in on some off side trail. I'm not very good at finding those trails, thats why I'm a follower when I go.
I don't even want to imagine how crowded the bath houses are going to be.

I think I might look into going up there for the GSMTR in October.

Thats what I am thinking. I was originally going to avoid WR this weekend, but then I figured if I didn't go, I'd never know how it was
