I just joined TacomaWorld because I have a new Limited on the way, supposed to take delivery next week. As my identity implies, I'm not looking to off-road my new ride, I just want it to look awesome and ride as comfortably as possible. And before the flaming starts, I already have the off-roading covered...

I have a 3/2 leveling kit coming and of course I'm looking to upgrade the wheels & tires. I'm looking at 275/70R17s because I don't want to have to deal with trimming/cutting/welding that may be required for 33s. In a BFG KO2 the 32s are only 6/10" smaller than the 33s and
I like the idea of having that half-inch of extra room.

My questions are, does anyone have any experience with the 275/70R17 KO2 on a wheel with a -12 offset? How's the ride? Any issues?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Welcome to TacomaWorld! Regarding your KO2 question all I can say is I have 265/75/R16 KO2's on my 2015 and it rides like ass. I bought used and already had them installed but if it were my choice I'd go with something else unless you are towing a bunch or need the absolute strongest ply equivalent for doing offroad in areas with sharp rocks.

Thank you guys for the warm welcome! Yeah, the BFGs look awesome but I was afraid the ride would be harsh. I think I'll try and find something with a class C load rating instead of an E. For what I'll be doing a 6-ply will be fine. Thanks again!
