been waiting to install my bilstein 5100s on my tacoma 2019 SR 2.7L DOUBLE CAB 5ft bed!

i want to raise front end 2" inches. but per bilstein specs says.....

    5th clip = 2″ (5th notch not recommended) for 4×4 V6! 4cyl Access Cab! or 4×2 V6 Double Cab 6′ bed!

since my tacoma is not on that list. i should be ok?

but why? would 4cyl access cab, be an issue! and not 4cyl double cab? same engine size and weight? (front end)

    or am i missing something?

I spoke with Bilstein. They are recommended to be used with stock oem coils. I’m maxed out on 5th setting. IMO I’m good. No complaints. Just my 2 cents. Also no sagging on stock coils.
    Others will disagree.
    Good Luck OP

Some folks say that 2" on the Billy 51s is too stiff of a ride for daily driving. I have mine set for 1.5" and I'm happy with the balance between lift and much improved ride quality.

I had mine at 1.5” then bumped up. No difference. IMO

Did you do anything with the rear?

I plan of setting mine to the 1.1" setting without any changes in the rear but have been wondering if it will look too high.
Right now the difference between front and back is roughly 1".

I did 2” up front and 1.5” rear AAL. If you set at 1” lift you won’t need anything in rear unless you want to keep more rake. At that setting you will be close to level.

well....my 2.7L taco is 35 1/4 on left (driver) side and 35 1/2 on right side (passenger) from ground (fender tire area from ground) and rear end both sides 37" from ground. so a 2" lift will/should be around 37+ both front ends. so ill add a 1" block in back.

    should get....37+ front and 38 rear....ill be happy ;0)

When doing measurements it's better to use the hub center vertical to the wheel well arch instead of the ground.

This takes tire package dia. out of the measurement, and allows meaningful comparison to other vehicles, your tire wear, your choices for other packages, etc.

I got a lot more lift when I was on 5100s and had a 2.7 Tacoma, than what I was supposed to get with the a V6.
